A member asked:

What would make your blood feel "poisoned" if your complete blood count was normal? could you still have a liver or kidney problem?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You might.: You still can have a problem or a problem developing even if you have a normal cbc. That's why there are liver function tests and renal function tests and a chemistry panel. For example, you can have a high serum creatinine level with a normal CBC that would point to a renal problem, and/or a high bilirubin pointing to a gallbladder issue. Eventually the CBC can be affected but after long dz.
