See below: In an early pregnancy (2, 3, 4 weeks), the pregnancy hormone level doubles roughly every 48 hours, but it tapers off in subsequent weeks. By 6 weeks, you should see something more than just a gestational sac on ultrasound. If you're dates are accurate and you've had more than one ultrasound, then you may have a blighted ovum, a pregnancy sac without any fetal tissue.
