Unclear: Silicone infections ( not in an implant device) had issues with migration and luminary embolism. Modern implants have been well tolerated in that regard neuropathy at surgical sites is common and unpleasant.

Lungs and Implants: There has never been a reported association with any pulmonary disease and silicone breast implants. A rare complication of pneumothorax (lung collapse) related to the surgical techinique has been reported, but this is short lived lung collapse and if treated early completely cured. Hope this helps. Not likely: While breast implants may cause nerve compression and contribute in the vaguest sense of the word to a peripheral neuropathy, it is not likely a cause of pulmonary problems.
