Underwent surgery a week ago to remove blockage in small intestine & since they removed ng tube i've been vomiting green once a day. why won't this end?

Still in Hospital?: Ongoing vomiting means that your are not moving things forward yet. The bowels take a while to get back in a rhythm after they have been handled and operated on. Make sure you are staying hydrated and drinking electrolyte rich fluids. If the vomiting does not get better soon contact your surgeon.

Post surgery care: Your frustration is understandable!. If you are still in the hospital your surgery team will address the daily vomiting. If you are out of the hospital, then call your surgeon or return to the same facility where you had surgery. The are times when a second reason for the blockage is identified, after the first reason is surgically addressed.
