Probably: Acne can be made worse by obstructing the sebaceous glands that are considered the fundamental problem with acne. Bio-oil may further interfere with adequate drainage of the sebaceous glands.

Acne scars: You need to see your local plastic surgeon to evaluate your scars and devise a plan to address them. Realize that you will be trading one acne scar for one surgical scar that presumably will heal better than the acne scar.
