Depends on Type: There are many different types of arthritis. Treatment options are based on the type of arthritis a patient has. If you have arthritis you should see a rheumatologist. Rheumatologists specialize in the treatment of arthritis and autoimmune diseases and osteoporosis.

Depends on type: Arthritis, is a generic term. There are several types such as "osteoarthritis", what i simply refer to as the "wear and tear" kind of arthritis. There's also rheumatoid arthritis, which is mediated by your immune system (quite different), then there's gout, another very different type. If you can help us by narrowing it down, we can definitely give you some good advice.
