Naproxen OTC : B sure to clear it with ur PC as there are many side effects that can b very dangerous. Kidneys, stomach, & liver.

Depends: There is really not a "magic" pill to cure arthritis so any meds can be helfpul. I would start with your basic NSAID (ibuprofen, naproxen, etc) and see how they work. Don't get caught up in paying more for brand names as generic just as effective. Some people have better effects with one vs another so may require some trial and error. Nothing will take all the pain away.

Meds: Everyone responds differently so there is some degree of trial & error. Nsaids such as alleve or Ibuprofen (motrin, advil) are popular. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is good for pain relief but is not an anti-inflammatory.
