Needs an examination: You need to see your physician or primary care to examine you and discern what the swelling actually is. It might be an infection, a benign non cancerous fat tumors such as lipomas but cancerous tumors would be on the differential. All the above causes can cause painless swellings, again would stress you to see your doctor.
