Vaginal sling: If you are having pain or bleeding with intercourse following vaginal sling surgery, you should definitely see the surgeon who placed the sling to see if it has eroded and/or become infected. Since the procedure did not work, you may also consider seeing a urologist or urogynecologist for options.

See MD: Sometimes incontinence surgeries either don't work or fail. Their are other treatments for incontinence and many do not involve having more surgery. The bleeding needs to be checked out. Could be from cervix or uterus, changes related to aging or from the mesh. See a specialist to determine what is needed.
