I'm looking for a competent plastic surgeon who's not too expensive and is board certified for a liposuction, a tummy tuck, and maybe a breastlift. can you recommend someone?

That's a tall order.: There are many excellent, board certified plastic surgeon in southeast florida. Ask your friends, coworkers, and your doctor for suggestions. But, since all the procedures you mention are cosmetic, they are not covered by any insurance, so the charges, which will be substantial, will be your responsibility, and are usually paid up front. Try the ASAPS site: The american society for aesthetic plastic surgery are board certified plastic surgeons who specialize in cosmetic plastic surgery. Their web site www.Surgery.Org (that's org) has a physician locator. Asking friends or you doctor may also provide some guidance for someone in your area. Be safe and good results to you.

Plasticsurgery.org: Along with the aesthetic society, it is important that you chose a board certified plastic surgeon. You can look on plasticsurgery.Org and input your zipcode to find a surgeon in your area. Make sure that the md has extensive experience with the procedures and ask a lot of questions. Also ask to see before and after photos. Don't be shy and make sure you are comfortable with your choice.

Finding Surgeon: I would suggest starting with the american society of plastic surgery and/or the aesthetic society of plastic surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons.
 then, i would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices  concentrate on aesthetic surgery. See lots of examples of their work and preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done.

Not all board certifications are the same in the most respected board certification is that of the american board of plastic surgery. There are also a number of training programs in your area which may have a resident program under the supervision of a board-certified plastic surgeon.
