Not good or bad: It's neither. It, like all other foods, contain calories. To lose weight you need to burn off more calories than you take in. It's as simple as that. No specific food, supplement, vitamin, etc. Is special a calorie is a calorie and it takes 3500 to gain or lose a pound.
