You have to change the environment so the bacteria cannot "regrow" look into the perio protect method as research has shown it provides better results and kills the bacteria that cause gum disease. Not too bad: Get numbed up, usually do just half of the mouth at a time; and then a reevaluation one month later to see the results of the cleaning.
