Cotton & Ice: Bite on cotton covering this area, and hold ice (in plastic bag) on the outside of the face next to the extraction socket. Do this for the first 3 hours after the extraction. After that it will continue on its own. See post operative instructions on my web site: dentalproblemsolvers.Com.
