Can you take gout meds with lasik meds?

Yes.: Yes. It is best that you keep hydrated because you are more likely to get another gout attack when dehydrated. A diuretic will dehydrate you but you can take gout medicine with it. See a podiatrist for a cortisone injection into the joint if you have an acute attack. http://youtu.be/l8roh179tas leo krawetz, dpm, facfas.

Ask your doctor: Lasix and many other diuretics cause an elevation of uric acid levels which can trigger a gouty attack there are a few different kinds of gout medicines / those for acute attacks like Colchicine and Indocin (indomethacin) and those to lower uric acid levels.
