Dentures: You have two choices generally. Immediate denture is fabricated before extractions and placed immediately after extractions-same day. Draw back is after the healing, about 1 1/2 months a reline of denture may be needed. The other option is have extractions and wait for healing and then fabricate denture. This option the dentist has more control of case to make laboratory changes.

Depends : Immediate dentures can be placed on the day of extraction. They can be re-adapted to the healing gums, as they shrink from the swelling, every few weeks or so. Otherwise, you will need to wait 4-6 months to achieve a healed, reasonably stable base for your new dentures. Plan first!

Depends: Many variables : infection, existing bone contours/loss, available tissue for primary closure, your systemic health, smoking, and more. Most people get immediate dentures, the day the extractions are done. Tissues heal faster than bone, so tissue usually heals well after about 6-8 weeks. Bone often takes 4-6 months before considered to be well healed. See a prosthodontist for evaluation.
