I had. full mouth extractions yesterday . i have stopped bleeding today. i choose to leave both the top and bottom temporary dentures in. would this keep or help keep from getting a dry socket?

The temporary dentures are sealing and covering the extraction sites, allowing a clot to form, thus preventing a dry socket. Also the dentures are keeping food and debris from entering extraction sites and causing an infection. Rember to clean the dentures when you remove them ,and put back in a clean mouth.

7 days post wisdom tooth extraction & scab came off from lower. Rinsed mouth with salt water and noticed a brown object in the sink. There is a hole on bottom. No severe pain. Top has scab intact. I do have TMJ. Is this ok? Is dry socket possible?
