How safe is the use of misoprostol (cytotec) in softening the cervix prior to the induction of labor?

The drug has been: Used extensively throughout the country for years. It is good. 25-50 mcg vaginally or orally every 4 hours is the recommended dose but needs to be done in a hospital. May take more than one dose or may take off with just one, can be difficult to predict. There are risks with anything but following dose recommendations is key. I always give oral dose after delivery to decrease bleeding. Gdluc.

I am taking Misoprostol and stool softeners for Pseudo Obstruction. Other meds for chronic ailments. Drugs says eat a meal or don't eat or meal. Dosage times coincide often. I can't eat six meals a day, especially before bed. Any suggestions?
