Chest pain: You are correct that at your age this isn't likely to be heart. It could be costochondritis or perhaps esophageal reflex. If this is a regular occurence see your doc to be examined and the cause diagnosed.

GERD?: This could be gastric esophageal reflux disease, or gerd. But, 20 year olds can develop heart diseases... 5, 000 young people 17-21 die annually from heart attacks in the United States!
