Dis Be Goin' Aroun': Yep. Sounds familiar. Not the flu but some other hateful virus. Cough cough cough cough...can cause some wheezing too (that feels tight and leads to prolonged expirations). Most folks get over this in a week or two. Some get very sick, so if this gets progressively worse, head for an Urgent Care or ER. Try an over-the-counter cough medicine and if it doesn't work ask your doctor for a prescription

Asthma?: This sounds a lot like asthma and you need to get this under control. Another possibility that can do this is silent gastresophageal reflux. Please see your doctor.
