Tinnitus: Ringing in the ear or tinnitus. Looks like you have already seen an ENT doctor, he/ she should have told you the remedy for this. If no correctable cause can be found, ENT or audiologist may help you to try for a masking device. Seek help.

Ask ENT for more inf: The most common cause of tinnitus is hearing loss. In the absence of such loss, look for other factors: caffeine, alcohol, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, medication side effects, stress/anxiety. Occasionally, antidepressants have been used for refractory cases of tinnitus. Supplements such as lipoflavonoids are helpful in a minority of patients. Ask the ENT whom you saw for more guidance.
