Depends: Do you have any smoking history ? Did your parents smoke? Do you have passive tobacco exposure? If you have these rik factors or any occupational risk factors i would question your doctor further.

Not sure I know: What small means to you, but < 5mm would be my definition. Coupled with weight loss, i'm not sure what to make of this. Need to know how much weight, size of lesion, smoking status for your and parents.
