No: No, but young kids are notorious for being picky eaters. Does your child not want to eat at all, or is he picky about certain foods? If your son is not eating any solid foods, then it's time to see your pediatrician. However, most children this age will eat when they're hungry; they may just be more picky with what they want to eat. Try experimenting with various foods appropriate for his age.

Toddlers and eating: Agree with dr. Degraw. Sometiems the toddlers are just trying to get more attention by refusing to eat. Try leaving safe finger foods within their reach and do not go after the toddler with food in your hand to feed him/her. Tehy like to eat by themselves at times. They should be allowed to explore and eat at hte table with adults in the family as well even if they make a mess aorund them.
