Allergic Rhinitis?: Allergic rhinitis is commonly associated with running nose on a triggered basis, also post-nasal drip can be a result of this. Sinusitis on the other hand though can tract into rhinosinusitis is usually caused by congestive mucus build up into the the sinus tracts. A trial of anti-histamines such as claritin/zyrtec can help in addition to prescription nasal steroids/antihistamines, and allergist.
