Hard to guess: In the US, springtime allergies start about now, plus the common cold and strep throat infections are always here. Flu is less common now. Anyone with eye, ear, nose, throat, or cough symptoms can have one or more of: Flu A or B, common cold, strep throat, pollen allergies, COVID-19 coronavirus. Sneezing and runny nose would be more likely a cold or allergies. COVID-19 tends to have cough, fever.

Probably not: More important is whether you have had contact with anyone with COVID-19 or travel from a highly infected area. Fever and lower respiratory symptoms are more common with COVID-19
