Most are not.: Most cold cereals, even the "good" ones, contain a large serving of simple carbs and sugar. Their glycemic index is very high and they are, indeed, not good for you. Steel-cut rolled oats, however, are full of fiber and complex carbs that our body needs. Try it with a bit of raw honey, handful of nuts and some fruit. Delicious! and you won't be hungry for hours.

Family practice : Cereal in the morning is ok especially fiber products. If you are trying to lose weight it not a great thing in the morning. You need to stay away from carbohydrates. More protein in your diet.
