What?: 90% of all diagnoses are made with a history and physical examination. Lab tests and x-rays can help narrow the field, but are not as good as a good doctor. Normal labs can help rule out certain conditions; however, if the history and physical examination are convincing, the labs can be wrong. Without the entire story, nothing can be ruled out. You need the guidance of your treating physician.
