See orthopedist: Scoliosis of 43 degrees with pain deserves evaluation. I suspect you already have an orthopedic surgeon; if you are uncomfortable with his/her opinion, please do seek a second opinion. Fortunately, at 20 years of age it is unlikely to get worse.
