A member asked:

How do you know if you have a growing problem? i am a 21 year old female 6'1

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Basic tests: Expected adult height is the average of the parent height less 2.5 inches (girls) if you are still growing taller every year it is likely the growth centers in your bones have not closed & consultation with an endocrinologist would be advised. If you have not grown taller in the past year, the centers have closed (x-rays can tell). Your pcp may be able to clarify your status or refer you if unclear.
