Perimenopause: Elevated fsh and low amh levels indicate ovarian reserve compromise. Clomid (clomiphene) usually will not work to induce ovulation in this situation.

Not really.: At age 45, with High FSH and low AMH, indicates that you have DOR. If you take Clomid, (clomiphene) your FSH level will go higher. It is possible that all your follicles will disappear. I suggest you to see a REI doctor to consider donor egg IVF. If it is not an option, you may try natural cycle IVF, banking some embryos for PGS. There is about 5% chance for you may be successful.
