Probably: This will depend on the reason you are taking doxycycline. If you have an active infection, particularly one affecting the skin, do not get a tattoo. If for other reasons, discuss with the doctor who prescribed it. Make sure the parlor that does the tattoo is cleared by the local health department. Use of needles without adequate sterility can lead to many blood borne infections.
