Better than could be: Your are not having an extruded disk, pressing on a nerve. As far the the disc bulge, normal finding for nearly 100% of sixty years olds, most of whom have no back pain. (i know your 30.) do not smoke-it hastens djd. Try gravity inversion tables and strengthen your core muscles. If overweight, lose the weight. All these are simple measures that can help your back!

Exercise: Lumbar exercise program, get it from a good physical therapist. After that youre looking at invasive treatment as a last resort!
