Biopsy: A calcified nodule is likley benign. You need to compare thx xray with an old film of your chest if you have. Ct of the chest is helpful. If any doubt tissue biopsy will confirm the nature of this nodule. If you are not comfortable with the response nothing is wrong with getting another opinion.

2nd opinion: You want to feel comfortable. In nyc we have patients who go for five opinions, especially with lung nodule concerns. Nothing wrong to get second opinion to feel at ease.
