It's different than rheumatoid nodules. This is a garden variety chronic tendonitis of the shoulder from wear&tear over time. This may cause episodes of acute shoulder pain,chronic discomfort or no symptoms. If you're unsure of your shoulder status, have your MD examine & advise you.
