Probably not cancer: Most of the time, sharp pain under the scapula is not related to cancer. It might be due to rib pain or something else, like a pinched nerve in the neck or upper back. Cancer takes a long time to grow, and is unlikely to be present at your age. But, this is a great time to stop smoking, so that in the future, you don't' have to worry about lung cancer as much.

Chest pain: Don't be anxious re cancer but get it checked out, and stop smoking.

Breathe!: There are a bunch of things that can cause your symptoms, and it is very unlikely to be cancer! a muscle spasm can cause the pain you describe, and just smoking causes shortness of breath. See a healthcare provider, and use this as a wake-up call. If you stop smoking, in five years your lungs will be as healthy as if you never smoked! decide to quit! you are young and i know you can do it!
