Sure: Many lung conditions can cause shortness of breath, for example asthma, reactive airway disease, bronchitis, various respiratory infections, pneumonia, etc. At your age, inflammation and a possible viral or bacterial infection would be statistically most likely, nut get an evaluation to be safe and properly diagnosed.
