Interrupted Cycle: Sleep deprivation can cause a disruption in one's normal sleep-wake pattern. After a period of sleep deprivation, one is tired and eventually gets to sleep. Since the normal cycle has been interrupted it may take a few days before it returns to normal. Certain individuals are more sensitive to the changes in their sleep/wake cycle and may feel strange until everything returns to normal.
