Sleep need: Sleep of 5--6 hours per 24 is a bit too short. You are finished growing, so you may be ok sleeping less, but your wakefulness depends upon some extra hormone secretions, which have some tradeoffs for your body's health. Optimal sleep is 7-8 hours.

Adequate sleep?: Adequate sleep is generally 6-9 hours. Try not to nap during the day as it may affect your sleep quality at night. Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day. Don't read, eat or watch TV in bed if you can avoid it.
