Probably neither: By "hydro" do you mean Hydroxyzine or hydrocodone or something else? Xanax (alprazolam) is relatively short acting so it might not last the whole night, and i would tend to take it closer to bedtime (not two hours before). There are probably better choices than either of those, but please make sure to first focus on your sleep hygiene.
