R meds the answer?: I would want 2know the specific reasons u aren't sleeping well. I'd 1st want u2 have medical checkup. If there don't appear 2B any underlying physical reasons, I'd then want info on your daily routines -what u do, what u eat, etc. Also, I'd what 2understand the stressors in your life, the thoughts run thru your head when u try 2 sleep & when u r awake. Suggest consulting w/sleep medicine expert.

A/W Dr. Adelstein: Sleep Hygiene is Key. Retire & rise same time each day. Keep bedroom dark & cool & use only for sex & sleep. Turn off tv. No naps. Exercise regularly but not in late evening. No caffeine for 6 hrs & no alcohol or tobacco w/i 2 hrs of sleep.Keep dinner moderate sized & finish at least 2 to 3 hrs before sleep. Can try warm milk, Chamomile tea or melatonin along w light reading, warm bath or lavender
