Looks good: Nasonex (mometasone) is a topical nasal steroid spray approved for the treatment of allergic rhinitis. It can decrease the swelling, discharge and inflammation of the nose. The nasal exam can look normal or the lining of the nose can look red. If the spray was pointed toward the nasal septum it could lead to nosebleeds, so proper technique is important.
