Gingivitis: Inflammation or infection of the gums (gingivitis) can cause them to bleed, especially with brushing or flossing. Usually this happens if someone has not been consistently taking care of his/her teeth. Please see your dentist first. More rarely, bleeding gums can come from systemic bleeding disorders. These need to be reviewed by your family physician or sometimes a hematologist.

Gum help: First you need to floss daily and correctly, then brush three times a day even at the gum line, then stop using soda, have your teeth cleaned at a dental office, and get proper nutrition. See a dentist soon because this can be a serious problem left untreated.
