Gingivitis : Gingivitis is an infection of your gums. Sometimes it does not hurt. Usually the gums will be red and swollen - sometimes they will bleed when you brush. If not treated, it could lead to periodontitis - infection of the bone surrounding the roots. This can lead to tooth loss. Please see your dentist.
