IGF-1 Level High: Do you mean that the MRI was performed to examine the pituitary and no enlargement was noted. Sometimes a micro focus of cells becomes established and produces excess growth hormone, which can be one cause of igf elevation and can result in the disorder known as "acromegaly." have you noticed any enlargement of your hands? How about breast enlargement and/or clear discharge? Your md will re test.
