Reassuring: The fetal heart beat at 6 weeks is very reassuring. With a history of 8 miscarriages and 2 ectopics your concern is quite normal. Discuss this with your OB. Yours is a high risk pregnancy and a repeat ultrasound or serial quantitative HCGs or progesterone values would be appropriate and the only ways to assess the well being of the pregnancy.
