You can, depends on.: Some cancer like kaposi's sarcoma, cervical cancer non-, hodgkin's lymphoma are called to be aids defining conditions- meaning if a person with an HIV infection has one of these cancers it can signify the development of aids. The risk of developing those cancers would be decreased when you are on HIV medication and when your CD4 count is higher. How is your cd 4 count ? Make sure you take your meds.

Yes unrelated: While HIV does put you at risk for some cancers like kaposi's sarcoma that are uncommon in HIV - people, it does not mean that you are not at risk for developing cancers that other people are also at risk for. This, regardless of whether or not you have been diagnosed with HIV or when, you can still develop cancer related to other risk factors.
