Dermatitis: This sounds ilke probable dermatitis, which is inflammation of the lower parts of the skin. It is a form of eczema, which requires regular moisturization, and prescription creams sometimes as well. However, there are more serious conditions that can occur on the areola, so i would have it further evaluated.
