Hydrocortisone: Hi Mandi, The condition that you describe would probably benefit from OTC hydrocortisone. It is common to have Eczematoid symptoms in the winter, with hormonal changes or with taking certain types of medication. You may not have the text-book dry discolored areas of eczema but your skin is no less itchy and uncomfortable.

See a dermatologist: No antihistamine will help you unless you want sedation. Do you have swelling of your legs? Swollen veins? You will probably find relief with a prescription cortisone cream. Meanwhile you can try OTC hydrocortisone cream before sleep.
