I take levoxyl (thyroxine) and it makes my skin so dry and itchy. lotion doesn't work. what do i do?

Try different CREAM: I am assuming you have hypothyroidism that can also make your skin dry and itchy. You may want to try cerave cream which replaces the lipids missing in dry skin. Creams are more moisturizing than lotions. You can also try over the counter Hydrocortisone ointment. If these suggestions don't work, visit your dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment.
