I have itchy, dry and flaky large patches of skin on both of my areolas. sometimes they wrinkle up and become painful. after itching there is a clear sticky discharge. i tried moisturizing with body lotion but it stung badly. how to get rid of this?

Nipple dermatitis, an atopic dermatitis (eczema) affecting nipple and areola tissue. The itching can get worse by irritants such as wool fiber, soaps, and perfume. You may try an over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream. If not relieved or involved skin gets infected, consult your family doctor.
