Yes but rare: Cervical spondylosis that causes enlargement of the joints of the neck can lead to pinching or tearing of one of vertebral arteries that feeds our brain. Most people have two of these arteries but some have only one and thus if this is injured it can lead to a serious stroke. A neurologist can assess these arteries with a doppler exam or cta if you are concerned and are st risk.
